Ben is a gorgeous 1-2 -year-old German Shepherd. Well-mannered and somewhat shy, Ben exudes a spirit of kindness and  gentleness. If the world around him feels a need to hurry, that’s not Ben’s problem; he will take it one step at a time by assessing new things in a thoughtful manner without rushing in. He exits his kennel slowly but, once outside, he loves to explore and is a pleasure to walk on leash. A canine introvert, Ben enjoys affection from people but isn’t demanding of it. He can be a bit unsure with those he doesn’t know but doesn't deviate from the fundamentals of who he is: sweet and gentle. Ben enters play groups a little shyly. As he determines that the other dogs are friendly, he does very well with them. In fact, he appears to be happier when he is around companions of his kind. Ben’s sweet and mellow personality makes him relaxing to have around and, if there is another friendly dog in the home, so much the better! Handsome Ben is ready to travel near or far.
